Government Printing Office publication for the Federal Depository Library:

Excerpts: The Regional Meeting is held to provide a forum for regional librarians to discuss current topics facing regional libraries in the FDLP. The format for the Regional Meeting includes brief 10-15 minute presentations prior to a breakout session for discussion with results leading to consensus on the topic. Breakouts will involve 8-10 people rotating among tables to brainstorm topics. The Master of Ceremonies for the Regional Meeting is Marianne Ryan, who will conduct the wrap up at the end of the Regional Meeting. A summary of the discussion and action items from the sessions will be prepared by GPO and available in a Summary Report 8-10 days after the close of the meeting. Larry Blevins will send the report to each regional librarian via email.
